Yes it is always like that for the fact that it is the only major determinant that determine your admission into higher institutions.
But I have been there before and I am telling you to be calm. Most of the university will not commence the admission process until around November or December. And by then, Waec would have release the result. Besides, most of the institutions allow you to use awaiting result for their post utme screen exercise
So, here I want to show you How to check waec Result.
Use any of this method to check waec result
Method One
Waec makes it simple that you can use short message to get your weac result by sending this message format to 32327:
WAEC*Your Exams number*Card PIN*Exam YearThen send to 32327
Eg: WAEC*42777272078*765342567890*2014
Wait for a while for returning message that contains your result.
Method Two
The other method is to use www.waecdirec.org.
On the page that display, fill in you Examination Number (7 digits center number + 3 digits seat number), the Year of Exams, Type of Exams, then enter the Card Serial Number and PIN number and click Submit.
Note: Make sure you are very sure of your EXAMINATION YEAR . If you are not certain about it, don't proceed so that it will not check other candidate with the same seat number.
